Ready to book?What do we do if we like locations from the guide that are in different towns?
If we want to book the Deluxe Package, how do we schedule all the dates?
- Great question! Upon booking, you'll select your first session date. Then I ask that you either (1) include in the other 3 dates in the "do you have questions for me" box at the end of booking OR (2) email me after book or after you look through the Location Guide the additional dates you'd like. This way I can add those to our calendars & get them blocked off!
- An example of how to utilize the Deluxe Package:
- Session 1 - Summer session for beautiful greens & golden hour
- Session 2 - Fall session in your cozy sweaters under the yellow and orange trees
- Session 3 - Studio session in the winter for fun and/or simple outfits, fun props, showcase the things you love most (sports, music, books, etc)
- Session 4 - Cap & Gown session in the spring at your high school, football field, highlighting sports, etc.
What happens after we book?
- After booking, you'll receive an email with my Location Guide & Session Prep Guide! From there I'll be checking in to create the best game plan for your session! We'll talk about locations, outfits, props, etc.
How does film work?
- I have film offered as an add-on! If you choose to add on film, I'll being my film camera to our session to use alongside my normal, digital camera. Afterwards, I'll include 5 film images in your final gallery! These are in addition to the included digital images in your package.
What if I want more locations or outfits than are included in the package?
- I have additional locations and outfits available as an add-on option that you'll be able to select after you select your package in the booking link.
Do you pick the locations we go to?
- I have a very in depth Location Guide that I'll send you upon booking! It has all my favorite locations with several example images. I'm happy to choose our locations based on the vision you're loving, or you're welcome to tell me which locations in the guide you prefer!
What happens if it rains?
- The weather app and I are best friends, haha! I'm constantly checking to see what they're calling for. In the event that rain is expected, I usually recommend rescheduling when the chance is 40% or greater. I leave enough room in my schedule for us to be able to look at a new date within a week or two of the original date. I also allow reschedules for cloudy days when you're dreaming of a beautiful golden hour session.
Do I need to have my hair and makeup professionally done?
- I don't require this, but I do recommend it! This helps create a beautiful look where you can still feel yourself. Especially in summer sessions when it's so hot, professional hair and make-up tend to hold up so much better! I have a list of recommended makeup artists that I include in your Session Prep Guide.
When will we receive our gallery?
- Within a week of your session, I'll send over your proofing gallery. After you select your favorites, you can expect your online link within 3 weeks!
How do I get my photos?
- After our session, I'll send over a proofing gallery where you will be able to select your favorite photos! After that, I'll have those edited and sent to you in your own online link.
Do you offer payment plans?
- I do! I have payment set up to where your invoice is automatically spilt into two payments; 30% at the time of booking and the remaining balance due the day of your session.
When should we schedule my senior session?
- If you're wanting a summer session, I recommend having this booked by April of your Jr. year! These are my most popular dates, and they fill up very quickly. Click here to view my blog post on how to know what time of year is best for what you're dreaming of!
- I offer sessions on Mondays and Thursdays February through November!
When do you offer sessions?
Do we go to all locations in one day?
- Yes, in my Classic & Premium package I include 2 & 3 locations respectively. This will all be within our 1.5-2 hour session on the one date you chose at booking.
- The Deluxe package, however, includes 4 one-hour sessions, each with 1 location. This means you'll schedule 4 different dates with me where we'll go to one location each session.
Where will I change outfits?
- I have a pop-up changing tent for you!
If something comes up in our schedule, can we reschedule?
- I allow one complimentary reschedule. The new date must be within two months of the original session date. After that one reschedule, I'll charge a rescheduling fee of $250. This doesn't apply if we have to reschedule due to weather.
Can I bring a parent or friend with me?
- Yes, of course! I encourage parents to come & friends are always welcome too!
Can you help with planning my outfits?
- Of course! I include outfit guidance and advice in my Session Prep Guide to help you guys get started, but I'll also check in a few weeks out and see if you need any additional, hands-on help!
What time of day will the shoot be?
- My favorite time of the day to shoot is around golden hour, usually 1-2 hours before sunset. Depending on your session length and time of year we could start as early as 2pm in the winter or as late as 7pm in the summer.
If we want to add-on a family session, how does that work?
- We will have a 15 minute family session either before or after your senior session! This time is in addition to your senior session time. This is a great option for the Christmas card, having the whole family repping where your senior is going to college, or updating photos for the house! You will receive 10 images from this session that are in addition to your included digitals in your package.
Do we buy prints and grad announcement cards through you?
- This is something I offer & absolutely recommend! You’ve invested in beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime images—your prints should reflect that. Additionally, if you order a print that's 11X14 or larger, I go back through the image with a fine-tooth comb to make sure it is absolutely perfect. However, this is not required. You'll be able to download all of your final digital images to print on your own. I just caution that drug store prints don't always reflect the colors or trueness of the images if it had been professionally printed.
- You'll be able to order prints & grad announcements through your online gallery link.
If we like locations that are out of town, are there additional fees?
- Yes, any location that's roughly 45+ minutes outside of Jonesboro, I will charge a travel fee. In the Location Guide I list which town each location is located in & what the travel fee is for that location. In addition, some locations, like gardens, required a fee to shoot there. These are also specified in the Location Guide!
- This is where I'd recommend booking the Deluxe Package for multiple session dates, or, in the event you only want one additional date and not interested in booking two separate sessions, I offer an "Additional Date" add-on. This means we'll go to one location for one hour on one date and the second (and/or third) location for one hour on a second date. You'll receive the same amount of digitals & outfits as stated in the package. This add-on fee is $600.
If we choose the Classic Package, but would rather have an album included than the 4x6 prints, can we upgrade that?
- Absolutely! I have that listed in the add-on page as well.
